The monthly Workshop Session of the Board of Supervisors, Hanover Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania was called to order by Chairman John J. Finnigan, Jr., at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 3630 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 18017 at 7:30 P.M.

 

            Present were Supervisors Colon, Walbert, Salvesen and Diacogiannis, Engineer Birdsall, Solicitor Broughal, Manager Sterner and Public Works Director Kevin Healy.

 

            The Pledge of Allegiance was performed.

 

Mr. George Scoggin and Attorney Piperato were present to discuss the possible development of his properties along Stoke Park Road.

 

            Mr. Finnigan closed the Workshop meeting at 7:55 P.M. and opened the Public Meeting in regards to the Connection and Tapping Fee Ordinance.

            No one was present to offer any comments.

            Mr. Birdsall explained the ordinance.

            Mr. Finnigan moved that the Board approve the following Ordinance in regards to Connection and Tapping Fees:

ORDINANCE 05-06

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HANOVER, NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 95-7 DEALING WITH CONNECTION AND TAPPING FEES AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH.

 

            Mr. Diacogiannis seconded the motion.

Mr. Finnigan yes, Mr. Colon yes, Mr. Walbert yes, Mr. Salvesen yes, Mr. Diacogiannis yes.

 

            Mr. Finnigan closed the Public Meeting and re-opened the regular workshop session at 8:00 P.M.

 

            A discussion was held concerning the proposed Cable Ordinance.

            The Board authorized the Township Solicitor to advertise the adoption of the Cable Ordinance.

 

            The Board adjourned to an Executive Session at 8:05 P.M. to discuss personnel matters.

 

            Upon motion of Mr. Colon, seconded by Mr. Walbert, the Board approved adjournment at 8:20 P.M.
