ADULT DAY CARE     3893 Adler Place     Conditional Use Plan

Marcus Danweber (Owner)       Mahboobeh Shekari (YMCA Director of Finance)

Louise Kostick (YMCA Director)

Proposed Adult Day Care was reviewed along with letter from Hanover Engineering dated     June 15, 2005.

Proposed pick up and drop off area will be moved one space.  Location, properly sized, is designated for van drop off and pick up. Metro Plus, Vast and Easton Coach currently transport clients.  Area is flat going into the building.  Proper signage will be provided.

Planners request a handicapped space be provided for any handicapped employee and/or client who drive.

Kostick advised there are 7 employees on hand between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Drop off occurs between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.......pick up between 2:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Van delivers food in the morning prepared by Wood Catering at Gracedale.  At 1:30 p.m., van again arrives to collect the empty stainless steel trays.

Clients are served on styrofoam trays.  These trays are part of their garbage, which is taken to the dumpster by their cleaning service.  Danweber feels the present 8 yard dumpster can handle current needs.  It is important to maintain area in pristine condition.  If another dumpster is needed, they will add one.

At the Conditional Use review, the Board of Supervisors will need to know the maximum number of parking spaces this use requires.

Documentation, showing the Adult Day Care is intended to serve the employees of the PIBD District, must be provided.

Motion was made by Tanczos, seconded by Kuehne, to send a letter to the Board of Supervisors, recommending Conditional Use approval based on satisfaction of comments made in Hanover Engineering’s letter dated June 15, 2005, specifically with regard to the maximum number of parking spaces required by this use and documentation that use will serve the PIBD District.

Hilton, yes;   Kuehne, yes;   McGonigle, yes;   Taggart, yes;   Scoggin, yes;   Lawless, yes;             Tanczos, yes
