COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DISCUSSION

Township land use was discussed.  Planers propose the following changes:

R1-S to LBD - Parcel of land along Route 512 between Stoke Park Road and Place Road,              including the Fire Company Property

Residential homes along the eastern portion of Hanoverville Road - rezoned to LBD.

The Strohl property (3+ acres) along Township Line Road - rezoned to PIBD.

The land surrounding existing AFHBD - rezoned AFHBD.  Land is presently zoned R1-S with        AFD overlay.  Included is the Christ UCC Church and the residential properties near the                church.  The Village View section will remain R1-S.  A condition with the AFHBD Zone               should include berming, separating it from adjacent Residential.

The Davis property is to remain R1-S.

If the Airport adds a second runway, consideration must be given to the realignment of                  Weaversville Road to either Crawford Drive or Innovation Way.

Draft will be reviewed at April meeting with recommendations forwarded to the Board of Supervisors.

ENGINEER’S REPORT

Stanberry developer plans to attend the Board of Supervisors Workshop Meeting on March 16 with their proposal for a high end shopping venue, located on land behind Keystone Pontiac, presently zoned PHR.  Request will be made to rezone this property.  Car dealership would be relocated to the western area of parcel.  A new exit ramp off of Route 22 is being discussed with PennDot.
