MEMBERSHIP ATTENDENCE:  Betty Soltys,Alex Sahaydak, Steve Crump, Bob Roll

 

 

Call to Order: 7:00 PM by Betty Soltys, seconded by Steve Crump. Approved by all members

 

 

Review of minutes from March 2005:  Motion to approve by Bob Roll, seconded by Alex Sahaydak.  Approved by all members.

 

 

Report from HTCC: 

Representatives from HTCC were not available but Betty Soltys reported that there were no significant issues to be discussed at this time.

 

 

Report on Village View:

 Three representatives were present from the Village View neighborhood, with Mrs. Eck reporting on a demographics survey she made of the area surrounding the Village View Park. The survey indicated a growing number of children in the neighborhood and a desire by most residence to begin adding equipment to the park. A discussion followed as to the type of equipment that would be best for the age groups in the area.

The HTRB agreed that Children’s Playground equipment and benches were required at this time and additions including basketball and walking paths would be discussed at a later date. A recommendation will be developed at the May meeting for presentation to the Board on Supervisors.

 

 

Other Park Issues:

            A discussion followed regarding the condition of the other parks and needs that had been previously reported. No new issues were raised.
