Minutes 01/13/2005

 

MEMBER ATTENDANCE:  Karen Kennedy, Mike Stasak, Betty Soltys, Bob Roll, Alex Sahaydak, and Steve Crump

 

Call to order:  7:45 PM by Betty Soltys.  Motion to open the meeting by Betty Soltys, seconded by Steve Crump. 

 

Review of December 2004 minutes – Motion to approve by Karen Kennedy, seconded by Alex Sahaydak.  Approved by all members. 

 

7:50  – Long Range Planning

The entire meeting was dedicated to the discussion of long range planning for the Township.  The RAB divided into groups and developed proposals based on 1–2 and 3-5 year plans.  Each proposal was reviewed and discussed among all members.  The categories were broken out as follows:

 

7:50 – 8:15 - Walking/Bike Paths:  A proposal, along with an updated walking/bike path map was distributed to all RAB members. 

 

8:15 – 9:15 – Parks:  A proposal of the parks was distributed and discussed among RAB members.

 

9:15 – 9:45 – Field Planning:  A proposal was distributed and discussed among RAB members.

 

9:45 – 10:00 – Swimming Pool and Community Center:  A proposal was distributed and discussed among RAB members.

 

Revisions will be made for each proposal and the first drafts will be distributed to each member prior to next month’s meeting.  All members will make a final review at next month’s meeting before proposals are submitted to the Board of Supervisors.  

 

10:00 – Motion to close the meeting by Steve Crump, seconded by Bob Roll.  All members voted in favor.

 

Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2005.
