Member Attendance:  Betty Soltys, Alex Sahaydak, Mike Stasak, Sallie Bartos, Bob Roll

 

Call to Order by Betty Soltys, second by Mike Stasak

 

Review of minutes from previous meeting: Motion to approve by Bob Roll, second by Mike Stasak.

 

Report from HTCC by CathyHeimsoth

             The center has generated a Resource Guide that lists important information for the newcomers. This has been a cost effective way to contact new residents and members.

            Center is holding Quarterly Welcome Receptions

 

            Overall revenues have improved greatly versus previous years.

 

The monthly Bingo is working well with 68 attending the last session

 

            It was discussed and determined that there is not a need to add a third shade structure at the pool area

 

            The Summer Parks Program was discussed and it appears there is a need to address the entire program in order to generate more interest in the community.

           

Report From Hanover Crossing by Sally Bartos

            There are approximately 220 home in the Crossings with 25% having young children and 65% with children of all ages. The current report from the residents regarding the future park is they enjoy the current open space concept but in the future would want a tot park and a basketball court. A picnic pavilion was also discussed. There will be a questionnaire sent out later this year to better define the needs at the park.

 

Report on the Parks

            The new playground equipment at Crawford Park has been a huge success. There continues to be a need for benches. The need also exists to upgrade the park at Delta Manor.
