MEMBER ATTENDANCE:
Call to order:
Soltys, seconded by Steve Crump. Approved by all members.
· Pool membership: The current pool memberships are 25% higher than those from 2004.
· Theme week: Camp participation is down 13% from 2004, but consistent with the totals from 2003. This figure may still be incomplete due to camp programs continuing throughout the summer.

Jay Finnigan has requested a survey be taken of
the area surrounding the
·
Karen and Mike met with representatives from two
Playground companies who visited the parks.
They provided us with catalogs, sketches, and suggestions. Mike also received catalogs from a third
vendor. The information from all three
vendors was reviewed with the
·
Alex reported that the grass at Crawford field is
not growing, there are many rocks, and the field overall does not appear to be
playable.

Approximately
14 pear trees along the bike path appear to be damaged. A call was made to Joan Witiak of the Shade
Tree Commission and she confirmed that the trees have been attacked by Japanese
beetles. Although they look diseased
now, they are not permanently damaged.
Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2005.
