MEMBER ATTENDANCE: Dean Koski, Karen Kennedy, Mike Stasak, Micahel Caffrey, Betty Soltys, and Tom Black.

Call to order: 7:40 PM by Dean Koski. Motion to open the meeting by Dean Koski, seconded by Mike Stasak. Approved by all members.

Review of April 2003 minutes –

• One change to the May 8 minutes. The May minutes were inadvertently labeled as April minutes. The changes have been noted. Motion to approve by Mike Caffrey, seconded by Karen Kennedy. Approved by all members.

7:45 to 7:55 – Shade at pool update.

• Shade structures are still being produced. Latest from the vendor is that they will be shipped by the end of June.
• Two locations have been picked for installation. Site 1 is on the south side of the sidewalk directly across from the Toddler pool. The second site is on the south side of the main pool centered approximately 20 feet back from the concrete deck.

8:00 – 8:10 – Crawford Park.

• The construction of the utility building at Crawford is expected to break ground during July.
• Upgrading of the south fields first and the north fields after construction has been completed.
• 3 sets of large goals are recommended for each of the large fields and the goals should be anchored. It is agreed that youth soccer goals would be supplied by a soccer club using the fields.

8:10 – 9:10 – Pool information.

• City of Allentown pool fees. Season pass family resident - $50.00; non-resident – same. City of Bethlehem season pass family - $90.00; non-resident - $110.00.
• Discussion regarding the future pool issues.

9:10 – 9:15 – Handicap Access to the pool.

Recommendation: The R.A.B. recommends that a portable handicap pool lift is added to the fiscal 2004 budget. The R.A.B. also suggests that the Township seek private and/or public support to help defer the cost. Motion by Dean Koski, seconded by Mike Caffrey. Approved by all members.

9:15 - 9:20 - Rails To Trails Update

• The map created by Hanover Engineering has been reviewed by board members and revisions/corrections are being made.

9:20 to 9:25 – Park Updates - Mike Stasak has agreed to create a display of all township parks including, facts and pictures, highlighting key attributes for use during community functions.
