MEMBER ATTENDANCE:  Betty Soltys, Sallie Bartos, Karen Kennedy, Alex Sahaydak, and Mike Stasak

 

7:45 PM  Call to Order:  By Betty Soltys, seconded by Sallie.

 

Review and approve minutes from January 2008:  Motion to approve by Betty, seconded by Karen.  Approved by all members.

 

7:50  Report from HTCC: 

·        The Program Guide for the HTCC Spring/Summer session was distributed and reviewed.  This program was mailed to Hanover Township residents.

·        Upcoming special events at the HTCC include Touch Truck Program, Vera Bradley Bingo, Game Swap, and an SAT workshop collaborating with Kaplan, a company that specializes in SAT training.

 

8:20  Applicant for Recreation Advisory Board:

·        Yvonne Payne, a Township resident introduced herself and expressed interest in joining the Park and Recreation Board. 

 

8:30 General Park Discussions:

·        Crawford Park:  The barrier that prevents cars from being parked in the parking lot is utilized to help deter vandalism.

·        College Heights:  The play structures have been installed and all upgrades are complete.

·        Hanover Crossings North:  No planning is being done at this time.

 

9:15 PM - Motion to Adjourn

·        Mike Stasak motioned to adjourn meeting

·        Alex Sahaydak seconded motion

 

 

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 7:30pm.
