MEMBER ATTENDANCE:  Betty Soltys, Karen Kennedy, Alex Sahaydak, and Mike Stasak

 

Call to order:  7:40 PM by Betty Soltys, seconded by Karen Kennedy.  Approved by all members.

 

Review of minutes from October 2006:  Motion to approve by Alex Sahaydak, seconded by Mike Stasak.  Approved by all members.

 

7:45  Heritage Day:  The Recreation Advisory Board plans to show a DVD of the  Township parks, distribute a survey (see below) and answer any questions residents have.

 

7:50  Park and Recreation Survey:

·        Heritage Day:  The survey has been finalized and ready for distribution for Saturday.

·        We will work toward making this available on the Township web site.

 

8:00:­   HTCC Director’s Report:

·        The drawing for the car will be postponed in order to help sell additional tickets.  More information on the revised date will follow.

·        Focus Groups are being planned for the Community Center to help generate feedback on current programs including fee structure, hours and availability, and the value of an HTCC membership.

 

9:05:   Park Reports:

·        Crawford: 

-         The lower portion of Crawford Field is still under repair.

-         Twenty-five trees will replace dead and diseased trees at Crawford.

·        Westgate:

-         Several trees at Westgate Park will be removed and replaced.

 

9:10 PM - Motion to Adjourn

·        Alex Sahaydak seconded motion
