Members Present: Natalie Miller, Rose Miller, Irv Good, Mary McCornac

Called to Order 10:40 a.m.

Rose Miller made a motion to accept the minutes from the 5/15/02 meeting. Natalie Miller seconded it and all others approved.

Discussed the fun festival and possibly making changes to activities and food items for next year. Also discussed whether or not to hold over Memorial Day weekend. Will try using a brochure style advertisement for the event.

Mary McCornac will send balance of thank you letters to sponsors. She will also send letters to volunteers. We had more sponsors mail their support since the last meeting. She will also check into the cost of plaques for the community spirit & sponsors. Natalie Miller will make certificates for sponsors.

The committee made further plans for the Halloween Parade. Natalie Miller will contact the schools, etc. to try and obtain more participants. We reviewed the participants we have thus far. We discussed the categories for prizes and that we need judges. It was agreed that Irv Good would be the grand marshall. It was discussed what food we should have for the "after parade" party.

John Finnigan has been able to raise just about all the money he needs for his budget for his Holiday Tree Eagle Scout project. The committee discussed where to purchase the tree and the possibility of having memory stones.
