Special Events Committee Meeting
May 21, 2003

Minutes
Present: Mary McCornac, Debbie Marshall, Rose Miller, Jeff DeCrosta, Michelle Michael-Mill , and Natalie Miller.
Called to order at 7:00 by Michelle Mill.
Motion made by to approve April 16, 2003 Minutes made by Michelle Mill seconded by Mary McCornac. All approved.
Discussed the Sousa concert.
- Attendance was excellent at appx. 600+ people
- Both bands have agreed to participate again next year
- Need to make more programs next year
- Need to send 2 vets that were honored their citations
Discussed Family Fun Day
- Crime Watch will attend with info on the Cat Eyes program
- Park & Rec will participate
- Rep. Dally will attend with info on state programs
- Rain contingency plan has been arranged if needed
- MCall & Express did preview stories on the event
- SEC has made a flyer with info on all of their events for the year
- All signs are made Sponsor Board will be made

- Mike Prendeville has added this info to the Special Events page on the Township web site
