Called to order at 7:00 by Natalie Miller

Michelle Mill made a motion to approve the minutes of 9/18/02 with

the following corrections:

The date for the Iron Chef Cook Off is yet to be determined.

The Family Fun Day is to be held on 5/24/03 NOT 5/23/03

The Halloween Parade for next year to be held in October of 2003.

Rose Miller seconded and all others approved.

Halloween Parade

Participant list is still growing. Members decided on a tentative

order for each participant in the parade. Order will be amended

for new participants, etc.

A review was made of the essays received for the "king" and "queen"

contest. Courtney and Andrew Milham are the winners.

Entertainment

Because of the lack of availability because of heavy rains and the

drought in previous months, the committee decided to withdraw

our plans to have a straw maze. We will consider it for next year.

We will still have the train ride, pumpkin painting, magician and giant slide.

Hot dogs, chips and soda will be available outside with coffee and hot chocolate

available inside the center. Cider and donuts will be available at the

"pumpkin patch".
