HANOVER TOWNSHIP SHADE TREE ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING

IN ATTENDANCE:  Joan Witiak, Dan Roman, Susan Scholl, Dave Zakeski, Linda Taylor

 

1.  APPROVE MINUTES:      Minutes from the May 30, 2007 meeting were approved with a motion from Dave Zakeski, with Susan Scholl as second.

 

2.  REVIEW PERMITS:  Susan distributed permit listings for review by the commission.  Discussion followed about expired permits.  The Township Zoning Officer will be notified.

 

3.  PARK TREE PLANTING UPDATE:  Dan Roman reported on the Township parks and the number of trees needed at each park.  Fall is an optimal time for planting trees.

 

4.  REVIEW INNOVATIVE WELLNESS CENTER/ NORTHGATE II, LOT 4:  Tree protection fencing was not shown on the plan.  The number of street trees listed was incorrect.

 

5.      OLD/NEW BUSINESS:  Dirt has been piled up on both sides of the tree line to the east of Municipal Park. 

Large branches should be pruned on an oak tree in Troxell Park.
