MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2006, 6:30 P.M.

IN ATTENDANCE: JOAN WITIAK, SUSAN SCHOLL, DAVE ZAKESKI,

DAN ROMAN, AND LINDA TAYLOR

1. Upon motion of Daniel Roman, seconded by Susan Scholl, the minutes of the February 27, 2006, STAC meeting were approved.

2. REVIEW PERMITS: STAC reviewed permit notices sent and permits received.

3. MULCHING BIDS: Dave Zakeski reported that he sent out 5 bid requests for mulching park trees and received 2 bids back, which will be sent to the Supervisors.

4. PARK TREE PRUNING: Will discuss at next month's meeting.

5. REVIEW LVCC I, LOT 2: There is no list of trees to be relocated, stating variety and size. A complete planting schedule is needed.

BECKER MINOR SUBDIVISION: Trees to remain on the lot should have tree protection fencing at drip line for the duration of construction. Street trees should be selected from the “Next to Wires” list. Agree with waiving requirement for street trees on Jacksonville Rd.

LVCC II, LOTS 7 & 8: Recommend substituting other tree varieties for Acer rubrum and Pyrus caleryana. Also Austrian pine trees should be replaced with another variety of evergreen.

HANOVER HIGHLANDS, LOT 2, SOTEL ENTERPRISES: The replacement trees must be large deciduous trees.
