Hanover Township Shade Tree Commission Meeting

May 20, 2002

The monthly meeting of the Shade Tree Commission was held at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 3630 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017 at 6:30 P.M.

In attendance were Joan Witiak, Jeff Waldron, David Zakeski, Linda Taylor and Daniel Roman.

1. Upon motion of Jeff Waldron, seconded by David Zakeski, the Commission approved the minutes from the meeting of the Shade Tree Commission dated April 15, 2002.

2. Review tree list: The large tree list is done. Linda Taylor will check on cherry trees and Daniel Roman will check crab apples for the next meeting.

3. Discuss permits: Most trees have been planted for the expiring April and May permits.

4. Reviewed Hanover Ridge and Holiday Inn Lot 3, Uplands Office Park.

5. Discuss pruning: Daniel Roman will write a request for bids to have certain park trees pruned.

6. New business: It was noted that the family of Jeff Waldron had a tree donated in his name to the township.

The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
