HANOVER TOWNSHIP SHADE TREE ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING

 

November 30, 2005

 

 

The monthly meeting of the Shade Tree Advisory Commission was held at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 3630 Jacksonville Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017, at 6:30 PM.

 

In attendance were Joan Witiak, Daniel Roman, and Susan Scholl.

 

1.      Upon motion of Daniel Roman, seconded by Susan Scholl, the minutes of the October 31, 2005, STAC meeting were approved.

 

2.      Review Permits:  Two permits have expired without replacement trees.  Susan Scholl will call the homeowners before the names are turned over to the Township.

 

3.      Park Tree Planting:  The Township Assistant Manager did not approve planting trees in the parking area and around the new Crawford Park building.  A meeting will be held with him.

 

4.      Review 3910 Adler Place L.P.:  A few recommendations will be made.

 

5.      2006 Meeting Dates:  A schedule will be printed up for the Township.  Generally, the last Monday of the month will be the meeting date, but due to variances in the Planning Commission schedule and holidays, some months will vary.

 

6.      Old/New Business:  Dan Roman and Joan Witiak marked the locations for the Patriot/Susquehanna Bank replacement trees at the bank site and in Crawford Park.  Hopefully, they will be replaced soon.

 

The December meeting is cancelled.  We may meet at the beginning of January, depending on plan submissions.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
