The monthly meeting of the Shade Tree Commission was held at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 3630 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017 at 6:30 P.M.

In attendance were Joan Witiak and Daniel Roman. Absent were Susan Gibisser and Jeff Waldron.

1. Upon motion of Joan Witiak, seconded by Daniel Roman, the Commission approved the agenda.

Upon motion of Joan Witiak, seconded by Daniel Roman, the Commission approved the minutes from the meeting of the Shade Tree Commission dated September 17, 2001.

2. Reviewed bids for new trees:

Bids from Roots Nursery and Kuss Brothers Nursery were received. A fax was received from Greentree Nursery indicating that they only supply very large trees and were not bidding. We have nothing yet from Glenmar or Foliage Farm.

3. Reviewed permits:

We reviewed 4 shade tree permits and identified 1 to be checked for the next meeting.

4. New business:

a. The updated permit form has been finalized.

b. Joan Witiak will check how much money we have in escrow for new trees.

c. We need to determine the count and when the trees that are owed to us by Extended Stay America and Northgate are going to be delivered.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
