Our pool is located immediately next to the Community Center on Jacksonville Road. The pool has provided summer fun since 1981. The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The hours of operation are from 12 noon until 7:00 P.M. in the months of June and August, and from 12 noon until 8:00 P.M. during the month of July. Swimming lessons will be available for the children. Further information can be obtained from the Community Center before the season begins.
Hanover Township also runs a summer parks program at the following active parks: Westgate, Macada North, Pharo, Municipal Tract, College Heights and Troxell. Each park is staffed with trained counselors who keep the children occupied with various games, projects, and arts and crafts. Information for these programs can be obtained from the Hanoverview newsletter or from the Community Center.
Available to our community are tennis courts, basketball courts, hardball and softball fields located at the various parks throughout the Township. Permits are available for use of the hardball or softball fields for a fee.
